In this article we will cover the following subject;
Billing Overview
Your risk-free trial provides unrestricted access to Gomove’s Basic plan for 7 days. You will be able to choose another plan and begin your subscription at any time during or after your trial. Your credit card will not be charged until you have selected a plan and confirmed your subscription type in the dashboard.
Once your 7-day free trial has ended you will be required to choose a plan from the General➞Billing section in your administrator's dashboard Settings. If you do not select a plan once the trial has completed, then there will be no charges made on your credit card.
What is a task?
A task can be a pick-up location or a drop-off and is considered a unit of work logged in your user dashboard. They count for billing purposes only when they are completed (success or fail). They can be completed by yourself, by your drivers, or by other means such as via an API call.
Different plans have a different amount of tasks included, be sure to check that out!
For more information about our available plans, see Gomove Plans and Pricing.
What plans does Gomove offer?
Yearly plans
Yearly plans are charged 12 months upfront but come with a 40% discount on monthly payments. Whenever you start your billing cycle, you are charged a pro-rating amount until we align your billing cycle on the 1st of each month. Any task overages used in the previous month will be added to your monthly payment for the following month. The same goes for credits that we may owe you!
Monthly plans
Monthly plans are charged on the 1st of each month. If you start your billing cycle on the 15th, you will be charged a pro-rating amount to move your next billing cycle to the 1st of each month. Any task overages used in the previous month will be added to your next payment. The same goes for credits that we may owe you!
Can I change my subscription plan?
Yes! You can switch between our different subscription plans whenever you please. To change your subscription plan, head to your General➞Billing section in your administrator's dashboard Settings.
Monthly plan upgrade
Upgrading to a higher-cost monthly plan means you'll be charged a pro-rated amount for the remaining current month and get immediate access to new features.
For example, if you upgrade from a 10$ per month subscription to a 20$ per month plan, you will be charged prorated amounts for the time spent on each option. Assuming the change occurred halfway through the billing period, you will be credited 5$ for unused time on the initial plan, and charged 10$ for the remaining time on the new plan. On the 15th, when selecting your new plan, you will then be charged 5$ for the current remaining of the month.
*If you are due a balance when changing for a better-suited plan, for example, you are credited 5$, it will be applied to the next billing cycle.
Yearly plan upgrade
If you are on an annual plan, you will be immediately credited with the unused months of your current plan and charged for 12 months of the new plan.
Plan downgrade
You can choose to downgrade your plan at any time before the 1st of each month. You will maintain access to your current plan's features until the end of your billing cycle, at which time you will be automatically downgraded to the new plan.
Can I cancel my subscription plan?
In order to cancel your account please log in and head to your General➞Billing section in your administrator's dashboard Settings.
Here, you can view all of your billing information, including your history of payment. You will also find an option for requesting account cancellation, which if selected will notify our customer support team about your request.
Your account will be canceled and we will notify you as soon as it is.
Per our company's policy, we do not provide refunds for prepaid plans. If we determine it is appropriate based on the situation and in our sole discretion, we may issue a partial or complete refund. Our return/refund policy will also include any processing fee we incur as part of the original transaction.
